beautifull but they used to much CGI,even so,its great to see the saga one more time with such quality!
i just cant wait to see the ascencion and fall of griffith and the born of the KILLER of apostles…THE BLACK KNIGHT.

feck I love Berserk, whens the second part come out? I suppose I could just watch the rest from the anime though.

Im apologize i usually dont endulge myselve into commenting on animes. But berserk is my favourite one of all times. They cut in the storyline in such a horrific manner everything i liked about it was gone. Imo the best part about the berserk series was the character development, now there simply is none. visual quality went up, essence is gone. i give this a thumbs down

Too bad there was only one Anime season of Berserk.

i agree with wabisuke. personally, i think the old Berserk is alot better than this new one. They cut too much of the story and i don’t really like the new visual effects and the voices, i just loved Gatts voice on the first Berserk, it was raw and filled with anger. i dont think this new voice shows his emotions, he looks more rational now. Basically i dont like anything about this new Berserk, i’d advise watchning the old series instead.

agreed with mike and wabisuke, while the quality is a lot better, its missing so much, they pretty much condensed half of the anime into an hour and 15 min. and even though the quality is better, i think the characters looked and sounded more badass in the old series. only reason i would recomend watching is because this is supposed to continue further than the anime ever got, but considering how much has been cut out, its probably better to just read the manga.

Not to mention, the original had a dark undertone that fit with the manga. This new one seems to completely lack it, almost as if it’s some Disney version for kids. I might just wait until it goes beyond where the first one stopped

Yeah, I do agree with wabisuke and annoyed, I was disapointed when I saw “3 years later”. They cut all the ascension of Gutts in the Band and all development of characters. I hope they do this because it has already been seen in anime, and that they will go further in history and not stop at the beginning, like the old anime did.

You guys should realize that this is not a series of episodes but rather a series of movies.
They have to cut down on a lot or else people who paid to see this on the big screen would be dissapointed at how little of the story they get to see.
Of course its condensed nearly beyond recognition, BUT its still Berserk. And I guess it will get a lot of people interessted in the manga, which is a good thing, right? I for one did enjoy this movie…

Ah! I was not aware that they were movies played in theaters, thought it was only destined for television…
