for all the ppl bitching that they dont know what happened.. SPOILER: its like this, moto and yomi became friends and by second year their friendship slowly depleted because they were in separate classes. if you payed attention you would have noticed the part were yomi peaks in the class and then disappears, this is because all her sadness/ whatever takes over and takes her to BRS world.. moto then trys to find her friend and goes into the BRS world and finds and defeats the evil yomi and saves the good side of yomi.

For people who don’t get this show…pay attention. Mato and Yomi were best friends, first year of junior high. When their second year came, they were split into separate classes. Mato started to focus more on basketball and got more friendly with the basketball club manager, Yuu. Yomi felt lonely and disappeared, becoming Death Master. It took BRS, Mato in another world, to save her. From what assume in the end, Yuu, the basketball club manager, becomes evil.

Either way, this OVA was a waste of hype…and my time…

i think that its gonna be like, “more will be revealed” when the next episode comes out. because from the looks of it, it could be a good action anime with a psychological twist but at the same time, it looks too…idk, kinda depressing

Well, I don’t know what to say about this… it was okay, I liked the animation at least, but it was… kinda.. dunno.

i think all the fighting parts were what happened in the other world after she became black rock shooter in the end to save her friend. kinda confusing telling the two parts of the story at the same time

the part were there in school is what happened frist then when there in the other world thats the second part at the end there both bk in the “real world and i think shes spending more time with the friend she just saved, so the over friend is geting upset so she goin 2 go evil next

by playing the the first part and the second part together it is confusing at first but i like it! it’s different, u get more story out of it, and its a nice way 2 balance the action. remember this is only the frist episode and the way they did it they want u wanting more & not knowing whats goin on.. love this show think its going to be big cant wait 2 find out more think there’s goin 2 b lots of twists in the story. makes out of 10: …. 8/10….
-STROY- im kind of bored of the school thing (should of been older women) part from that story looks good so far cant wait 2 c more!
-animation- animation was beautiful, a pleaser to watch, fight sceens was fluent, and detailed.

@ divider: the reason you get songs is because miku is a voice. a system called Vocaliod is a voice synthesizer. there is also a program called miku miku dance (MMD) where you can make her and other models dance or do other stuff.

I thought this was a movie and watched it with ‘movie’ in mind… but then at the last episode I was like ‘wtf?! Who ends a movie like that?’ I looked up and then saw it was ‘Episode 1′. xD I really loved it, I just wish I knew when the other episodes where coming out, it really seems like it’ll be a really good anime. This finally made my decision to cosplay Black Rock Shooter later on. ^-^

it doesn’t look like the anime came out before the song… also i don’t remember hearing supercell sing their song in this, unless i missed it somewhere along the line.
yeah its confusing, but if you were watching it to understand the story, its pretty simple, its only confusing if your watching to pass time.
overall its a decent OVA… that being said, its prolly a 1 time thing, from the sound of it, usually OVAs come after an anime series has finished a season or something like that.

when the girls are fighting in the checkered world and when the 2 main char are having fun is from 2 diff timeslots?flash back to and fro?

Although I started to get confused between the fighting scenes and normal day life, I began to understand it at the end.

@KillerCow – I think it was just the other side of the girl. And now that they are one, I guess she could probably go back and forth between the dimensions. I dunno xD She’ll probably fight in another ep. if there is one. But I think there will be one.

WTF!! i really appreciate the battle scene.. but it’s SUCKs bCoz the story is the main problem. its simple but if the creator of this anime make it simple as it is… also the ending WTF does this mean there’s a part 2.. NO WAY!!!

OKAY FIRST OF ALL I’D LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT THIS A MOVIE NOT A SERIES. SO STOP WITH THE ‘OH I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEXT EPISODE’. IT’S ANNOYING.

Next I’d like to point out that the ILLUSTRATIONS came before the SONG which came before the OVA. The song which is titled the same as the OVA was sung by a voice synthesizer, a program that enables users to create songs. There are many different voice synthesizers like VOCALOID, UTAU etc. which all have their own unique voices, but if you want to know more about that then listen to the songs or ‘go googe it’. lol.

Lastly I’d like to explain the storyline for everyone who is confused. *SPOILER ALERT* Basically this is a story between two highschool girls, Mato and Yomi. They meet each other for the first time in their first year of highschool and eventually become very close friends. However, in their second year they are then seperated into two different classes. They are both part of school activities, Yomi is part of the Volleyball club and Mato is part of the Basketball club and eventually builds a very strong friendship with the Basketball club manager, Yuu. Being as Mato and Yuu are in the same class they are able to spend more time with each other and their friendship becomes even stronger than Mato and Yomi’s friendship. Eventually Yomi feels ignored, lonely and betrayed, tand so her sadness inside overcomes her and she is taken to the BRS world where she is possessed by Dead Master, her true side. Mato then feels guilt and lonliness and is also taken to the BRS world by Black Rock Shooter. Once there, Black Rock Shooter saves Yomi from Dead Master and takes her from the BRS world. Mato and Yomi eventually build their friendship again, however this time Yuu feels ignored and is taken to the BRS world as Strength.

I hope this helps anyone who is confused. (:
