I dont understand how they make Natsu.. in really early episodes fighting that air wizard, he was able to change the properties of his fire to beat him.. other desperate times he seems to display raw power such as when he roared at that psychic snake guy mentioned.. and another time he developed red dragon scales.. now I keep expecting him to use any of it.. but instead they find some “way” for him to eat the gods flames and use it to his advantage.. and on that note, natsu’s own fire doesn’t hurt him, why would using the god flames against this guy do anything?

ye i know what your saying, ussually in an anime, the person would use whatever they happen to learn multiple times. yet with natsu its sorta like he forgets all about the things hes done…. altho i think the dragon roar was perhaps done without him realizing, and the dragon force (red dragon scales?) was probably thought of as just some power up from eating potent elements. as for the last episode, i havnt read the manga, but i think it was the combination of the 2 flames that beat him, also i dont actually know if he was beaten… kinda left it hangin at the end.

Jesse, it is quite simple.. it depends what flames he eats.. and why the god flames hurt the god slayer, it is because he combines god and dragon to make a dragon god flames.

Ok listen up… Natsu negated his own magic in order to contain the God Flame magic. After doing so, he fused both his power with the new fond magic he just absorbed to knock out Zankcrow…

Natsu cant use Gods flame from now on even tho he ate that fire, but he’ll get a new mixture of powers in the manga so you’ll just have to keep on watching till they will reach to the current Saga in the Manga.

Natsu does not acquire the god flames. However, later on when a bunch of them are fighting Purehito/Hades, Laxus will give Natsu his power, allowing Natsu to use a Lightning-Fire Dragon Roar. Seven years later (there is a 7-year time skip), Natsu is shown to be able to use the Lightning-Fire Dragon Roar on his own.

I know what you mean man. The enemy owns the God Flame so why would he be hurt by that? Here’s some of my idea about that. Its like when you touches a rock. It doesnt hurt. But combine it with Fire/Heat/friction. It will became “MAGMA”. And if you touches Magma, it will surely hurt more than touching a rock or the Fire itself. Something like this….

Also, it will be Erza who beats Asuma. Gray beats Ultear, Fried and Bixlow will beat Rustyrose (the guy with the glasses) with the help of Elfman, Juvia will defeat Meldy (when she says she wants to kill Gray, Juvia goes berserk), Loki will defeat Capricorn (who is really a Stellar Spirit “possessed” by a human named Zoldeo) and Natsu will defeat the fat guy Kain Hikaru. Gildartz will defeat another guy called Bluenote Stinger, who has not been revealed yet.

One more thing. At the end of this arc, we will see the a new dragon (not a Dragon Slayer, and actual dragon). Acnologia, the Dragon of the Apocalypse. This was the dragon that took out Gildartz’s arm and leg. He will almost wipe out the Fairy Tail core members, but the spirit of the First Master of Fairy Tail, Mavis Vermillion, will intervene by putting Tenrou Island in a time-stasis shell, protecting them from Acnologia’s breath, but also removing them from reality for 7 years. When they return 7 years later, they find that the world has advanced in magic and that they have become relatively weaker. Even Natsu has trouble defeating Max (the sand magic guy–don’t remember him? That’s right, Natsu has trouble beating a former nobody in the guild, and almost loses to him too).

This is just a theory for why the god flames hurt that guy Natsu was fighting but I think it was because the God Flames were mixed with Natsu’s flames and created fire with different properties.. Just something to think about.

hmm..fairy tail became boring and too predictable.. the fight scene are too ordinary and the s class of fairy tail are lacking overpowered battle scene. they became so lame looking. sigh*=.=
