I think Jellal is good. He shot fire at Natsu. Natsu eats fire. It makes him strong. And Jellal just got his memories back, so he remembers that, right?

Let’s all pretend to be amnesiacs armed with a fire spell. You have a supposed ally that can absorb flames to heal. The correct way to assist them is: 1) Shout at the top of your lungs, “DUDE, FREE FIRE!” and THEN offer your help. 2) Blast your “friend” in the side of the head with the spell and wait to see if it helps. I rest my case.
