hmmmm didnt see the action i wanted but gildarts getting serious was pretty badass lol and got to see lucy and erza boobage so im satisfied for now

I knew Gildarts was extremely powerful and all, but… DAMN! I have never seen Natsu back down from a fight before, I didn’t even know he could, but Gildarts very presence when serious, scared him sh*tless.
Here’s my theory of the (relatively distant) future of the Fairy Tail plot:
Gildarts gets killed by some big evil thing, that’s some way related to the 100 year quest Gildarts failed to complete.
Natsu takes up the quest and completes it, finally surpassing Gildarts. And all that will probably span like 50 episodes.

Fairy Tail was obliterated by Acnologia at Tenrou Island that’s how the S-Class Exam Arc ends. And the next arc starts after 7 year time skip.

@Mr.Obvious LoL? Goku was good but ehh… Gildarts as far as we know has no limit to his power yet. Gildart would backhand Goku.
Note: I was hoping Natsu would go “super” and summon some crazy power. But seeing Gildarts do that made my day. What a cool episode

@Mr.Obvious Its not true, gildarts would have like 2000 battle power while goku in ss3 has probably over 800 000. Only guy i could think of that could beat goku (except some DBZ/GT characters) is alucard. But all in all, that doesn’t matter and it is stupid to compare chars from different anime.
