the reason why it’s a flower: Setsuna finally “had a dialogue” with the ELS, he understood the ELS and through him ELS understood humans, and the ELS wants to make peace. what comes to mind as a symbol for peace, the flower in the bottle he always has, the first thing Setsuna would think of? ELS understood what Setsuna and humans would see as a symbol. After “learning” that from Setsuna, the ELS turns into a flower, the fastest and most shocking way to stop the fighting and say “peace”.

i wish there will be second movie that continue this show and it was damn awesome!!!
