No one actually knows why itachi is weaker than usual during the fight but my guess would be like kimimaru he got sick as he approached the limits of the kekkei genkai the sharingan or from his dealings with madara. Uchiha eyes cant be taken like the hyuga ones they MUST be given. It is too bad sasuke didnt get the shield and sword or even the eyes but badass how he awakens his own mangekyo through itachi’s sacrifice. Anyone know if his are eternal even though madara has itachis’ eyes??

Itachi didn’t die beacuse of sickness nor of Sasuke or Orochimaru. he died because he wanted Sasuke to live and he gave his all his power to Sasuke so he can get stronger. if you guyz haven’t read the manga Madara even himself says Itachi is wau stronger then him. Madara said tha he is scared of Itachi because he can touch him and kill him and Madara said that he couldn’t lay a finger on Konoha and Sasuke or he is going to be killled by Itachi.
