I love this series. I know people who refuse to read/watch ONE PIECE for stupid reasons like “It’s too long!”, “The art is weird!” , etc… It’s too sad people are kept from reading/watching something as EPIC as ONE PIECE just because of those lame reasons. booohooohoooh T____T It makes me really sad. So… I’m just gonna point this out since it annoys the hell outta me. Anyone else not that the developers are getting extremely lazy? The intro to One Piece is literally five minutes and thirty some seconds long.. that is including the the brief recap of the previous episode. Anyway this only leaves about 15-16 minutes of screen time for the actual new episode. Compare that to the norm which is around 20 minutes per episode on any other series and you can see my point. What the hell are they doing? I mean seriously, I won’t mind even if they must hit filler again but to fill a massive chunk of an episode with nothing but an intro is insane.

@K-ris if you look into it, it’s because they’re trying to make each manga part into an episode. The mangas dont have that much content to them, so it ends up being long intro and 30 episodes of luffy running towards a scaffold that appears to be no more than a mile or so away from him to start with. Plus take into count the lack of an ending song…

I agree 100%. 10 episodes of running and constant screaming of ace’s name are just too much. You’d think that 20 minutes are enough, but they have the intro, they have the second intro, they have the flash back and they have the ending. So you get about 13 minutes of pure anime, of which 20% are repeated scenes of the crowd fighting, 20% showing face reactions to every sentence someone says, 30% of talking and explaining and only 30% of actual action.

So 30% of 13 minutes equals about 4 minutes of pure action and storyline. Great isn’t it? Not.

i understand where you are coming from but you have to understand they do an episode every week. That’s 52 episodes a year unlike most shows that have 12 to 14 episodes and then wait a year.

SPOILER HERE I THINK ACE WILL BE REVIVED IN THE NEAR FUTURE BECAUSE HIS FRUIT ABILITY IS NOT THE REGULAR FIRE BUT THE PHOENIX FIRE WHAT YOU THINK GUYS
