What annoys me is that if u think about it, all Ace had to do was dodge the punch by dematerialising to fire in his chest area before it hit, and then use the rest of his body to block Akainu’s body that wasnt in magma form. The trick to surviving him woulda been simply to dematerialise what he is gona hit, then hit the rest of him, or use haki if he had. Sigh ++. Luffy’s revenge is gonna be sweat.

But if you think about it, Ace died with his father, and died protecting his brother, and he found the family and satisfied his life’s dream, just like whitebeard, plus his death put Luffy in an awesome position in terms of allies and fame, its sad but, Ace’s death was a perfect sacrifice for Luffy, just like Itachi’s sacrifice for Sasuke’s sake.

so why couldn’t marco and vista damage aka inu with haki? he just turned to magma oltough they attacked him with haki as he said… there is no logistic in this haki shit…
and how can be magellan get beaten if noone can even touch him? ivankov should have haki too and should attack magellan without gettin’ poisoned…

Haki works both ways for attack and defense so he could have had a chance of blocking the attack but i dont believe Ace had Haki to begin with. Ace couldn’t turn into fire since Akainu would have massive haki which can negate devil fruit powers, plus if he did then luffy might have been killed by Akainu with that punch
