@Cynical: What the ever loving hell are you talking about? The last filler arc was all the way before Sabaody, and that tied in with the 10th movie, which in turn Oda confirmed as canon.
Yes, they expanded upon the Crew separation episodes and the flashback, but that was only so they don’t catch up with the manga and are forced to do fillers. I for one am okay with that, even though I’d like to see the post-timeskip crew, too.
