So pikachu beats pauls electivire and ties to latios, but losses to miyappu? This happens at the beginning of each region, pikachu gets levels down, then throughout the whole region of training becomes good again, and is ash still 10? it just seems they start over again, ignoring the last region..

Pikachu got real slow. It should be able to with these battles without electric attacks.
