XD I can believe you on the 25+ episodes. A lot of light novel based animes run 26 episodes. Hell, slayers ran several seasons w/ at least two 26-ep arcs.

There are over 9 Sword Art Online books. The anime series is set to cover books 1-4.

The little kid in the picture here should be properly explained in the anime as I doubt they’d skip that.

Kirito will most likely get defeated. He just owned a boss so they have to bring him down a little bit. Joining the guild will bring in more story and more characters to this anime/light novel.

so yeah i think you are correct there’s a good number of novels for SAO to make 26+ episodes but the big question is will they go past the novels or will that be a bad idea for the fans of the novels? if they do i dont mind i never really read the novel yet but from what the anime showed me i will 110% consider reading it the anime is amazing so most diffidently the Novels have to be outstanding

started reading the light novels, and im rather disapointed with the author. the first volume, which is what we are watching right now, is rly short. with such a great idea, it would be all the more amazing if the story was expanded beyond simply floors 1, 74 and 75. all of the eps where ppl are calling them fillers, and are of the other floors, are actually a seperate volume marked as side stories.

well there getting emotional and finnaly together now. now something has to happen violent i bet some more people die

Just to let all of you Asuna fans out there know, she doesn’t die in the light novels. So her dying in the anime is almost impossible, since there’s that and she’s one of the main characters.

The anime so far covers mostly the “fillers” of the light novels, but since they made this part of the novels into an episode, I’m guessing that from now one it’s going to be mostly plot. I think the anime will at least be 30 chapters if they’re including ALO and GGO and maybe Alicization.

This was the best anime I have seen so far till this episode… This episode totally killed whole thing. It was all cool and full of fighting at first and now it’s all lame romance between those two little kids.
